These Terms of Use govern your use of careerOS, operated by LunaPrompts. By uploading a résumé or using careerOS in any way, you agree to these terms.
What careerOS does
careerOS is a job-matching tool. It reads your résumé, matches it against publicly available job listings, generates fit scores, and produces tailored CV suggestions. It is an assistive tool — it does not apply to jobs on your behalf, negotiate on your behalf, or guarantee any outcome.
No employment guarantee
careerOS does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or employment of any kind. Match scores and CV suggestions are generated algorithmically and reflect signal, not certainty. Hiring decisions are made entirely by employers, not by careerOS or LunaPrompts.
Do not rely on careerOS as your sole job-search strategy. We are a tool to help you work smarter, not a promise of a specific result.
Your résumé
You retain full ownership of your résumé and its contents. By uploading it, you grant LunaPrompts a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it for the purpose of providing the careerOS service to you. We do not claim rights over your work history, skills, or personal information.
You are responsible for ensuring your résumé is accurate. Do not upload résumés belonging to other people without their consent.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is false, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the careerOS API or infrastructure.
- Use careerOS for any purpose that is unlawful or harmful to others.
- Submit résumés containing malicious code or content designed to exploit our systems.
Disclaimer of warranties
careerOS is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job matches will be accurate or complete. Job listings are sourced from third-party platforms and may be outdated, closed, or inaccurate by the time you view them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LunaPrompts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of careerOS, including lost employment opportunities or decisions made based on match scores or CV suggestions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The effective date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of careerOS after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
